About the Millennium Fellow
Makungu Ruth is a self-driven and motivated fourth year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in library and information science with a major in business administration. She is enthusiastic about leadership and learning new things as we grow through learning and relearning all that we accumulate. Ruth is from a family of five, being the first born hence nurtured to grow up as a leader. Through out her educational experience, from primary up to tertiary education has participated in leadership positions and is currently serving as the first female president of the library and information science student association. Ruth aspires to be in a professional field that encourages innovation and social interaction as she believes that learning and growing is better done through engagement networks and the Millennium Fellowship program will be yet another platform to help her grow.
