Millennium Fellowship Project: Animal welfare project

We are choosing to advocate for the care and protection of animals especially the more vulnerable abandoned and homeless ones. As animals serve us and help us in our daily lives, may we treat them humanely.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ardelene Diana Ambasa is a 22 year old intelligent lady from Kenya. She was born in Eldoret,a small town in Kenya. She is a very strong, passionate lady who has overcome various challenges to be where she is today. Currently she is studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nairobi and is in her final year. She has great passion in promoting animal welfare from an early age hence the main reason for undertaking Veterinary Medicine .She was also the leader of the wildlife club in high school, a club that helped other students to take care of their environment and she has volunteered at her local veterinary clinics. She has also worked with county government of Uasin Gishu to promote animal welfare
