Millennium Fellowship Project: The Smiley Face Movement

The aim of this project is to spread mental health awareness among the youth in rural Kenya where such issues are usually overlooked. I plan to partner with health care providers inorder to do outreaches that will help in raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding mental illnesses.

About the Millennium Fellow

She is passionate about impacting the world around her through social and political movements. Through her project she hopes to raise awareness on the mental health issues among the youth by giving them a platform to tell their stories.
