Millennium Fellowship Project: Health and Education Bridge
My project is Health and Education Bridge. It serves the youth population based in Kenya from age 15 to 30 . It focuses on improving sdg 3 and 4 good health and wellbeing and quality education. Through this project we address mental health among the youth, depression, drug use and abuse, chronic diseases, support groups and medication compliance in AIDS . We offer mentorship to secondary school students, enlighten them on dangers of early child marriages and teenage pregnancy, we offer a holistic environment for maximum education success.
About the Millennium Fellow
Cynthia Achieng Osodo is a vision oriented young lady currently studying medicine and surgery at the university of Nairobi. She has a passion to create positive change and help the society. Currently she is volunteering at a Subcounty hospital in Rongo a district in Kenya where she is creating awareness on HIV and AIDs, importance of ART(antiretroviral therapy) and addressing the issue of stigmatization. In high school she was part of Obama leadership foundation which has performed various training courses to young leaders. Currently she is working on sustainable development goal 3 and 4 through her project health and education bridge.
