Millennium Fellowship Project: Championship to strengthen food security in Africa

My project is about community education on Antimicrobial resistance . To improve awareness and understanding of AMR and encourage best practices among the public in Dumboini Kenya.

About the Millennium Fellow

Eyaan Kennedy is a brilliant young and globally competitive final year BACHELOR OF VETERINARY MEDICINE student at the University of Nairobi Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Eyaan was born and raised in a nomadic desert community in North Western Kenya.

Kennedy has always been passionate about his advocacies in food security, antimicrobial resistance and neglected tropical diseases such as snakebite envenomation among the desert nomadic community of ateker living along boder line of Kenya, Uganda and Eastern Equatorial Republic.

Throughout campus Kennedy has successfully led young in various leadership positions in discussions concerning antimicrobial resistance and food security.

Through this Kennedy aspires to cultivate his desire to bring change both locally and internationally and contribute in the development of the United Nations Development Goals.
