" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will provide a network that I would need to make significant social impact. If making a difference in only one person - let alone the whole community - is the reason I’m hoping for this to be a reality someday, then I believe that change begins anywhere, and I know the Millennium Fellowship is where I begin. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: QUZA TEENAGE MUMS INITIATIVE
Quza Teenage Mums Initiative is meant to look out for the physical and mental health of Teen mums. Training them on Vocational skills and financial literacy is also part of the initiative
About the Millennium Fellow
Glory Valery Mbone is a young passionate girl who is currently studying medicine at the university of Nairobi. She was born and raised in a small town in Kenya, Moi’s Bridge and is trying to work her way up through society’s uncertainties to make sure those who come after her have an easier path to follow, just like the ones who went before her did. She’s devoted to the course of the less fortunate, she’s keen on knowledge acquisition and hopes to inspire the same in others. She loves learning, has excellent planning skills and is very particular about problem solving.
