United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. Over 31,000 young leaders on 2,400+ campuses across 140+ nations applied to join the Class of 2022.  200+ campuses worldwide (just 8%) were selected to host the 3,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Seeds of Hope

Seeds of Hope is a project that focuses on the mental health awareness for teenages from the age of 13 up to 19, helping them understand and creating a safe place to talk about their mental health while providing them with affordable therapy to avoid Suicide among the young.

About the Millennium Fellow

Kalaba Mukupo is a driven and hardworking business student at the University of Nairobi. She was born in Ndola, Zambia and is currently in Nairobi,Kenya where she is completing her undergraduate studies. She is passionate about helping people and making a difference by being the change she wants to see in her community. Kalaba has served on the student council as an International represtentative where she represented international students from different countries uniting them as one at her university in second year, she then served on the board of the marketing students association where she was the pubilicity director in the third year and she also served as a publicity director on the board of the Rotaract club in her campus. She is a passionate leader who loves to be active and work with others, she has taken part in numerous activities on and outside campus to give back to the community under her time in service. Kalaba aspires to work in a professional field where her ideas and views can make an impact as well as contribute in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
