The Millennium Fellowship will afford me an opportunity to engage with like-minded youth and learn how to organise and conduct community based projects. It will also encourage use of critical thinking, desicion-making and problem solving. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Tracy Karambu Kaume is a young bright student at the University of Nairobi School of Law. She is passionate about literacy and climate change informed by the peculiar challenges that face her community. She has been involved in organisng literacy book drives, legal aid clinics for children in conflict with the law, tree planting, waste collection and recycling. She has focused her dissertation on the impact of e-waste on climate change and looks to engage in similar projects in all her future employment prospects.
