" Opportunities like the Millennium Fellowship do not come to everyone, so I know that I have a special platform to impact my community for the better. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Zero-UP!

Balik Siklo is a youth-led project that aims to collect, recycle, and sell used tarpaulins after the 2022 Filipino elections. In the past, improper disposal of tarpaulins after election season has littered the streets, caused flooding, and increased toxic chemicals in the atmosphere. Balik Siklo hopes to not only promote environmental awareness, but also community engagement through collection and recycling initiatives.
