" I am very passionate about connecting the arts and humanities with science, particularly when it comes to healing. For me, arts and humanities have been crucial in my wellness and development. I am excited to bring my excitement for multidisciplinary ways of thought to work with a group of like-minded peers. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Start2Art Philly

To bring art to medicine in my community, my project aims to provide art as a tool for wellness by establishing support groups for Philadelphia health centers, student wellness groups, and/or hospitals, where recovering and recuperating patients, caregivers, and students can create, discuss, and find solace in the arts. The program would bring together people from all walks of life in individual and collaborative art lessons to enable creative avenues for healing and self-expression, and simultaneously make a pivotal aspect of care more accessible to the community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Throughout high school and in college, she has worked to understand more about these interdisciplinary connections through endeavors in the local and global community. In the future, she aspires to further develop her passions in the medical humanities through research and service initiatives.
