" I am passionate about human rights and changing the world around me for the better. Through the Millennium Fellowship, I am excited to meet others and be inspired by those who have projects and ideas that are already, or will, work to make the world a better place. Together, this cohort of like-minded individuals, all from different backgrounds, can collaborate and work together to help each other in our goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: TeacHER Philadelphia

TeacHER Philadelphia is an organization that works to empower women and women's education in Philadelphia. We will do this through a series of videos and articles that highlight topics that oftentimes women are left behind on (ie. financial literacy, stock market research, etc) as well as highlighting and ensuring that women's history is taught and emphasized.

About the Millennium Fellow

Anya Sinha is a rising sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania. She is passionate about human rights, and studying International Relations with a graduate certificate in global human rights. From a young age, she has been exposed to inequity and inequality around the world and is passionate about helping and changing the world to better support those who need it. Through her project, she hopes to push the focus on women's rights and equality at Penn through different clubs and initiatives, and end up in a career that has social impact as one of its primary goals.
