" I am excited to make a change in my home country, Kenya, especially after my studies in the United States. I'd also like to raise the state of education in my country and impact low-income families to provide them with opportunities that haven't been available to them previously. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: HOMY PHILLY
HOMY PHILLY is a project that was inspired by a research project I carried out with Havard's International Socioeconomics Laboratory. The aim of HOMY PHILLY is to develop a platform to provide information to homeless people on available shelters and opportunities for sustainable housing. By pairing with other NGOs and non-profits, we hope to give vocational training to members of these communities to earn a living and fend for themselves. The plan is to embed USSD features to expand outreach as well.
