" Passion driven goals, creativity and adaptability is what helped me to do my works and daily activities and persistance enabled me to not give up but to work harder so as to complete my tasks. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship class of 2022 will help me sharpen these skills and will equipme other new skils which I know will be benefial in my works. It will also help me implement my projects in accordance with UNAI principles and SDGs and this will be of great importance not only to myself but also to my society our globe. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Niyonsenga Deborah is a passionate, bright and talented girl. She was born in Rwanda and is where she resides till now but she has got the chance to travel in neighbouring countries like the Democratic Republic of Congo. She comes from a local family being a third born in a familly of five children and she has both parents.From her childhood Deborah liked to help people and she did all that she could to ensure that those around her are happy, and as she grew up her perspective changed from those around her to the whole society by this when she finished high school she became part of Rwanda Youth Volunteers in Community Policing.She has coordinated different activities that became a success like the 28th General assembly of MEDSAR as she was part of the team that organised it. For now, Deborah is enthusiast in helping to solve the problem of mental health problems that is prevailing in her society these days keeping in mind that she is a global citizen she want to do all that she can to ensure that this problem is sorted out so as to achieve the SDGs and with Millennium Fellowship she belives it is possible.
