About the Millennium Fellow
ANITHA TUYIZERE is hard-working and ambitious who always dreams and strives to bring positive changes that could impact the community, a level3 medical student at the University of RWANDA doing general medicine and surgery. she was born in RWANDA and currently studying at the HUYE campus. For as long as she could remember, Anitha has been always passionate about looking for solutions to different problems that people face especially women and girls in local communities. This passion made Anitha standout after joining her university level, she tried to be part of different students associations for advocating different problems that people face for instance she is a women and girls empowerment coordinator at one of the student-based organizations RWANDA VILLAGE COMMUNITY PROMOTERS(RVCP) which made her practice her passion. this leadership gave her the chance to organize different events and outreaches which made her explore more about the community she live in, for instance, she organized the official celebration of international women's day 2o22 as women and girls empowerment coordinator
