Millennium Fellowship Project: JGHC Community Garden and Course
The JGHC Community Garden is a Non-profit organization founded in August 2021 and based in the Tampa Bay Area at the University of South Florida Tampa Campus. Our mission is to share the global experience of food sovereignty by implementing it here in our own backyard! We grow our own food and donate it to local food pantries while building a community of USF students and volunteers to learn about sustainable agriculture and healthy food. Our lessons are taught from seed to plate!
About the Millennium Fellow
Audra Nikolajski is a junior at the University of South Florida. She is studying English and Political Science and minoring in Education. She is passionate about using storytelling as a means to facilitate societal change and advocating for quality and equality of education. She hopes to be a professor and to work in the political sphere of education. She is a global citizen, and values travel and exploration. Audra is incredibly honored to be selected for the Millennium Fellowship.
