" "I believe that being independent while being dependent on others is the key to good health. I am passionate about spreading health literacy in my local and global community because I want to prevent any chances of healthcare corruption. By understanding the fundamentals of health, the community would be able to make well-thought-out choices about their health and would be able to live the best version of their lives, all while taking their health provider's advice. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow and see how the perfect amalgam of communication and reliable information can help me make a major change in society. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: YouPrime
This project aimed to research the different health issues that my local community faced. Then, using this information, presentations would be developed and given, hopefully by health professionals that were partnered with, to the public. The goal of this project was to inform the local community on how they can take the initiative in their health, from their homes.
