" My curiosity, awareness and my identity of being an African has pushed me into addressing injustices millions of Africans have been facing for over a century. Many people are never aware in how our past as Africans contribute to the issues we face today! Whether on a subconscious or conscious level, Africans are stuck in a cycle of instability, conflict, poverty, marginalization, neglect, exploitation and bad governance due to the colonial legacy left by European Empires. My time at the Millennium Fellowship will give me a channel to express my views on how we can address issues Africans face and how together as a globe, we can contribute to the equality we've been yearning for!
