" "We live in a world preoccupied with the concept of perpetual growth but the environmental impact that has resulted from this conquest tells us to step back and rethink. Growth can no longer be attributed to something arbitrary but must be embedded in and centred around sustainibility and movement towards a circular economy. This is a daunting project , but with the leadership support provided by the Millennium Fellowship I believe I can create the impact required to change the status quo and aim it towards sustainable consumption and production" "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Upcyclin' Project

The Upcyclin' Project aims to educate people about the dangers of waste and unethical practices in the textile and fashion industry. It is a driver of change towards sustainability in this sector and encourages everyone to adopt sustainable fashion practices and fashion companies to invest more in ethical business practices particularly within the supply chain.
