Millennium Fellowship Project: Let's Talk Mental Health
"Let's Talk Mental Health", is a project that aims at improving people's mental health. This project is looking forward to people who have been battling with anxiety, overthinking, childhood trauma and depression. Alot of people might think that mental health is a sign of weakness, hence this project is about giving people a safe space, ensure those suffering from mental health to never be ashamed to seek help. Also, this project will give those suffering from mental health weekly scripts like gentle reminders for their suffering and tasks to do in order to improve where they are suffering. Everyday, 5-10 people are allowed to talk about what is bothering them, this will be done in groups of two to five people, but a one on one session will also be available.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sanelisiwe Mdikili is young hard working, passionate and determined female. She was born and raised in South Africa, Gauteng in Johannesburg, she's currently completing her undergraduate degree at Wits university. Since her last two years in high school, she has always been considered about mental health, shen then dediced to take psychology as one of her modules in university.
