" I think the unique contribution a Millennium Fellowship would provide is two fold. First, the ability to convene with and push others on campus is unique. It forms a platform to find like minded individuals. Second, it provides a form of Ethos for my project. Being a Millennium Fellow signals a sign of legitimacy, which is crucial when approaching institutions which are very apprehensive about change. All of this simply helps fuel the persons behind the project and the project itself! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Legalese Simplified
It is an application with one aim; to remove the barrier of legalese for the common public. I aim to implement two methodologies; first, an AI model to simplify legal contracts and language(using GPT3 as an example and benchmark) and second, a connection platform for law students/lawyers who want to do pro bono work to connect with those who need specific consultation.
