" The Millennium Fellowship provides me with a platform to share my thoughts and the execution process of my ideas to listeners far and wide. It helps me strengthen the motto of "Education for All" when I know a global audience is backing me. More significant changes happen on international levels, and minor positive impacts created locally have a domino effect on enacting changes beyond the boundaries. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Lakshya
In this project, we plan to conduct teaching sessions (offline and online) to assess the quality of education being provided to students from all classes of social stratas residing in urban as well as rural areas. We ourselves spread awareness that schooling up to a minimum of the high school level is encouraged in all stages of life. We analyse the spread of quality education in all schools and educational institutions and then work upon measures to improve the reach of literacy and real-life applications of the education being provided. We plan to organise small-scale book donation drives wherein we'll source and distribute good academic literature and subject matter books to those who can't afford the same. Also, we plan to organise fundraisers and conduct special drives towards recognising the importance of skill and real-life inspired education through the means of conducting art and music sessions among the underprivileged population of our country. The funds so collected will be donated to grassroots-level NGOs, which will further be used in helping further masses to avail of primary and secondary education. Along with the learning age of children below 18 years, we also plan to include in the drive for quality education adults who have not had a chance to educate themselves and teach them basic life skills, along with real-life based education regarding taboos related to sex, population control measures, gender studies, along with moral values of privacy, dignity, self-respect, among others, all that is needed to lead a contented life and head our way towards a better and inclusive society for all to peacefully co-exist in.
