Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Kaya
Project Kaya is an initiative by a group of 9 Millennium Fellows from XIM University under the auspices of and aegis of Millennium Fellowship, in coordination with United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The project aims to spread love and kindness by reminding people that they're beautiful in their own form, and their acceptance towards themselves and others will help in creating an environment we all wish to live in.
About the Millennium Fellow
Suheli Chakraborty is a sophomore Economics (Hons.) student at XIM University. Being born and brought up as a women in her city, Kolkata, she has been aware of her many privilages. Although later, in the beginning of her adulthood, she realised that such privilages could only be dreamt of by some people in the society. She believes her personal experiences and the issues she has seen her close ones face, has made her to be so passionately driven to help the people around her.
Suheli wants to do her master's in quantitative economics and econometrics, and later pursue PhD in that field. However, helping the society, especially the people of the marginalized genders will always be her aim in her life.
