Millennium Fellowship Project: Hypertension Campaign: Don't Let Your Blood Pressure Pressurize Your Health
Hypertension campaign is a group project Led by the Millennium Fellows of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Cohort. This project aims to engage with community traders of Ekpoma market square to sensitize and counsel them about hypertension and its complications through an open campaign, brief drama and flyers. There would also be blood pressure checks on them which would be carried out by i and members of my cohorts.During the millennium fellowship August to November 2023,Project hypertension would host a campaign event , physical meetings,Online discussions. We are hoping to reach 150 persons during these events.
About the Millennium Fellow
Unuigboje Francess is a medical student in her third year at Ambrose Alli University. Francess is a goal-oriented person who constantly seeks to develop her leadership abilities. In the Standing Committee on Capacity Building (SCOCB), she is currently an exco. She has taken part in numerous campaigns to raise awareness of various illnesses and ways to prevent them. She lives in Nigeria and has a strong enthusiasm for health. She is an entrepreneur running a small business and a tech enthusiast with graphic design talents.
