Millennium Fellowship Project: Hypertension Campaign: Don't Let Your Blood Pressure Pressurize Your Health

Hypertension campaign is a group project Led by the Millennium Fellows of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Cohort. This project aims to engage with community traders of Ekpoma market square to sensitize and counsel them about hypertension and its complications through an open campaign, brief drama and flyers. There would also be blood pressure checks on them which would be carried out by i and members of my cohorts.During the millennium fellowship August to November 2023,Project hypertension would host a campaign event , physical meetings,Online discussions. We are hoping to reach 150 persons during these events.

About the Millennium Fellow

God’sTreasure Oyakhilome a Final year medical student of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma Edo state, Nigeria,
God’sTreasure is passionate about how the individual can have an impact on the world around them through impact on child health and women in general which also focuses on the Girl child and teenagers in general. As a Nigerian native, much of her education focuses on medicine and surgery, Through her project, she hopes to help the region understand the importance of women and children, teenagers health, welfare and wellbeing. After she graduates, God’sTreasure plans to put up Non governmental organisations(NGOs) for developments in general well-being of women, children and teenagers.
