Millennium Fellowship Project: Hypertension Campaign: Don't Let Your Blood Pressure Pressurize Your Health

Hypertension campaign is a group project Led by the Millennium Fellows of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Cohort. This project aims to engage with community traders of Ekpoma market square to sensitize and counsel them about hypertension and its complications through an open campaign, brief drama and flyers. There would also be blood pressure checks on them which would be carried out by i and members of my cohorts.During the millennium fellowship August to November 2023,Project hypertension would host a campaign event , physical meetings,Online discussions. We are hoping to reach 150 persons during these events.

About the Millennium Fellow

Obakhena Israel is an adept medical student at Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma in Nigeria. He is an advocate of health and wellness as he believes the advancement and productivity of any nation are
inadequate without a healthy population.

He is a creative, intelligent, and highly motivated individual with an unquenchable desire to upend the status quo and transform the healthcare industry evidenced by his involvement in health-related activities.

He is also a research enthusiast who is eager to contribute his fair share to the United Nations'' sustainable development goal.
