Millennium Fellowship Project: Hypertension Campaign: Don't Let Your Blood Pressure Pressurize Your Health
Hypertension campaign is a group project Led by the Millennium Fellows of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Cohort. This project aims to engage with community traders of Ekpoma market square to sensitize and counsel them about hypertension and its complications through an open campaign, brief drama and flyers. There would also be blood pressure checks on them which would be carried out by i and members of my cohorts.During the millennium fellowship August to November 2023,Project hypertension would host a campaign event , physical meetings,Online discussions. We are hoping to reach 150 persons during these events.
About the Millennium Fellow
Martha igiogbe is a passionate undergraduate student with a strong commitment to education, humanity, and sustainable development. Currently pursuing a degree in medical laboratory science at ambrose Alli university Ekpoma,martha is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others. Her educational background, combined with her love for humanity, drives her to actively engage in volunteer work, advocating for marginalized communities and promoting social justice. Inspired by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, Martha actively participates in initiatives that promote environmental sustainability, social equality, and economic empowerment. Through her studies and extracurricular activities, she strives to contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable world for all.
