Millennium Fellowship Project: Hypertension Campaign: Don't Let Your Blood Pressure Pressurize Your Health
Hypertension campaign is a group project Led by the Millennium Fellows of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Cohort. This project aims to engage with community traders of Ekpoma market square to sensitize and counsel them about hypertension and its complications through an open campaign, brief drama and flyers. There would also be blood pressure checks on them which would be carried out by i and members of my cohorts.During the millennium fellowship August to November 2023,Project hypertension would host a campaign event , physical meetings,Online discussions. We are hoping to reach 150 persons during these events.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adepoju Precious Olufemi, aged 25, is a dedicated 500-level Medical Laboratory Science student at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma. With a fervent enthusiasm for recycling and sustainability, Adepoju actively seeks ways to bridge their academic pursuits with their passion for environmental stewardship. This convergence of interests motivates them to explore innovative solutions that harmonize the realms of medical science and eco-conscious practices, reflecting their commitment as a Millennial Fellow.
