Millennium Fellowship Project: Sisters in Solidarity
The project aims at supporting women and make them informed on their rights. It also creates a safe space for women to feel free and confide in one another. During this project Advocacy work will be done, panel discussion and charity work.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bezawit Alemayehu is a driven fifth-year law student at Addis Ababa University. Her exceptional social skills have enabled her to engage effectively with her peers and take on leadership roles in extracurricular activities. As an aspiring human rights lawyer, Bezawit is deeply passionate about bringing justice to her society, which has been plagued by ongoing war and conflict. Witnessing the countless lives lost and children orphaned by these tragedies has only strengthened her resolve to be a catalyst for change. Her ultimate dream is to see a peaceful and just Ethiopia where all citizens can thrive.
