Millennium Fellowship Project: Tikur Anbessa Mapping Project
In this project, we tried to build a platform—an app and a bot -to aid patients and caregivers in easily navigating Black Lion Hospital and obtaining accurate and trustworthy information.Additionally, students and staff will have a tool to help them guide patients in the hospital. By doing so, we may decrease the misinformation as well as save patients' time going back and forth. The objective is to initially test the app and bot with staff members and medical students. Following that, we want to make any necessary adjustments and launch the project for widespread use. We also plan on evaluating our success using a questionnaire/survey for the volunteer students to complete, so that we can determine how much the tools helped and adjustments we need to make.
About the Millennium Fellow
Iman Kedir Mudesir is 4th year dental medicine student at Addis Ababa University. Iman is passionate about leadership and how leaders impact the world. A lot of things have shaped the person She is today, but she give credit mostly to her primary and secondary education experience. From there not only she has built long-lasting friendships, but also gained valuable skills from the entire community such as tolerance, embracing diversity as well as being a team player. She has seen herself growing progressively in this community.
