Millennium Fellowship Project: Yeneta Tutoring and Mentorship
We are a group of students from Addis Ababa University (AAU) who have launched an initiative called “Yeneta Tutoring”. Our project involves tutoring and mentoring orphans at reliable centers. We firmly believe that we can make a positive difference in the lives of the young people with what we have. We assist them in their studies to increase their engagement and understanding. They have a great hope in us. Our project aligns with SDG 4 “Quality Education”. We aim to ensure equal opportunities for everyone in the education sector. In addition to tutoring, we mentor them as older siblings to encourage them to dream and aspire for something bigger than their current situations.
About the Millennium Fellow
I am lemmi lemma lejisa, currently enrolled in bachelor of arts in Economics at Addis Ababa University. It's my honor to engage in millennium fellowship to make a change, and I am happy to be accepted to this program.
