Millennium Fellowship Project: Tikur Anbessa Mapping Project
In this project, we tried to build a platform—an app and a bot -to aid patients and caregivers in easily navigating Black Lion Hospital and obtaining accurate and trustworthy information.Additionally, students and staff will have a tool to help them guide patients in the hospital. By doing so, we may decrease the misinformation as well as save patients' time going back and forth. The objective is to initially test the app and bot with staff members and medical students. Following that, we want to make any necessary adjustments and launch the project for widespread use. We also plan on evaluating our success using a questionnaire/survey for the volunteer students to complete, so that we can determine how much the tools helped and adjustments we need to make.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yididiya Terefe Disasa is a third year medical student. In her free time, she loves to read books and listen to music. She is passionate about helping others and believes volunteering is a great way to give back to her community.
