Millennium Fellowship Project: Every Child Initiative

The project main goal is to promote SDG 3. The project is aimed at providing for the less privileged child in both urban and rural areas but more focused on the rural areas. It is aimed at providing health education among mothers and older children, providing them with the necessary things ( like mosquito nets, kwashi pap for the malnourished child) to help keep them safe and healthy.

About the Millennium Fellow

Samira Samaila Kogo is a final-year medical student at Ahmadu Bello University Samaru Zaria. Being born in Northern Nigeria, she has experienced as a child first-hand some of the challenges faced by children in the underdeveloped world and hence this has fueled her passion for giving back to her community and the world at large. She is concerned about making the world a better place for everyone. Through her project, she hopes to impact positively to her community and help children escape some of the challenges she faced as a child and help Nigeria attain sustainability. She hopes to pursue a career in public health upon graduation and to impact the world and live it better than she met it.
