Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health in Students
The project was aimed at destigmatizing mental health particularly amongst students. Creating awareness on the need to prioritize mental health and know that whatever struggles they go through mentally in their academics, or general life, that they should speak up and seek help.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adaeze Ndu-ughamadu is a Medical Student at one of Nigeria’s finest universities, Afe Babalola University. She is passionate about personal development; how young people in particular can be holistic in their growth and not just limited to a particular field. Adaeze is committed to mental health advocacy and well being and through her project, she hopes that young people are more open about their struggles and she’s able to leave a profound effect on them; as well as making positive imprints in the lives of people.
