Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering the society on sexual health
This project entails creating awareness on unsafe abortion, this will involve me going to health care centers in my community to educate women on good reproductive health and provide accessible contraceptive options
About the Millennium Fellow
Chiduzie Onuoha is Final year medical student at Afe Babalola University, Nigeria. She is passionate about the general welfare of paediatric patients especially those under 5years of age. Her aim is to Desensitise the local women, mothers and community heads on certain practices which cause more harm than good to children. Also to break down the childhood survival strategies to the language the can be understand and easily put into practice, so as to reduce the rate at which our children are dying. After she graduates, Chiduzie plans to earn a postgraduate in paediatric medicine and subspecialize in neonatology.
