Millennium Fellowship Project: Restoring Inner Peace

Restoring Inner Peace, led by Amrit Sharma and his team at Agriculture and Forestry University, is a groundbreaking three-month initiative under the Millennium Campus Network Fellowship Program. Focused on enhancing mental well-being among students in agriculture and forestry disciplines, the project tackled stigma, raised awareness, and equipped participants with practical tools for stress management. Through strategic collaboration with health professionals from Chitwan Medical College, the team conducted webinars tailored to the unique challenges faced by students. The outcomes were remarkable, with increased awareness, reduced stigma, and a heightened willingness among students to seek help. The project's success, a testament to the potential of young leaders, emphasizes the impact of collaborative efforts in addressing mental health challenges. This initiative sets a precedent for empowering students to spearhead projects that directly impact their well-being and foster a supportive university community.
