Millennium Fellowship Project: SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE RESILIENCE PROJECT-GLOBAL HUB AGRIBUSINESS LIMITED

Food insecurity, waste management, and unskilled youths and
women in rural areas. Sierra Leone must catch up in domestic
food production and agricultural machinery operators. Rice
farming is a traditional pastoral activity that, to a more significant
extent, is under the slash-and-burn farming system. This farming
system is characterized by massive deforestation, erosion, and
less soil fertility that can no longer sustain increased crop
productivity.

About the Millennium Fellow

Alhassan Alimamy Dumbuya is a Final Year Civil Engineering student at Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University, Ukraine and a Second Year Software Engineering and Entrepreneurial leadership student at African Leadership University, Kigali, Rwanda. He has continually impressed me with his passion for environmental conservation, Agriculture, policy, Social Change, and his continual commitment to making a difference in Sierra Leone. What sets him apart from other youths is his ambition, resilience, and commitment to growth. His uncommon risk-taking attitude and radical disposition has been guiding him to cope with the agriculture sector, which is one of the priority sectors of Sierra Leone. Aside from being one of the committed private sector players; He help to deliver on the Sierra Leone National Agriculture Transformation Plan. He believes the world can harness agriculture and technology to help tackle many global challenges. By 2030, He want his company to achieve human progress for more than 10,000 people through sustainable agriculture.
