Millennium Fellowship Project: ZERO STARVE ZERO SHRINK
My project was based on the SDG goal 2, to reduce the poverty and malnourishment rates in the people in Bhatan, Panvel, Mumbai. We succeded in giving out food resources using the donations collected from the campus to around 50 people in the village.
About the Millennium Fellow
Insha Asheem, a Biotechnologist and Millennium fellow of class 2023, taking her ideas and works forward to bring the threat of hunger down in Mumbai by initiating the ZERO SHRINK ZERO STARVE campaign. This ideology from the Zero Hunger sustainable development goal was initiated in consideration to the malnourishment surveys taken and to lower these rates by implementing new methods to feed the poor.
