Millennium Fellowship Project: Action Rooms for Awareness (A.R.A)
Action Rooms for Awareness (A.R.A) is a group project led by Prashanth K K and his dedicated team members at Amity University Chhattisgarh for the UN Millennium Fellowship 2023. The initiative revolves around organizing informative sessions, led by guest speakers and experts, within our university. These Action Rooms will serve as a platform to increase awareness among students about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encourage them to realize their potential in contributing to a sustainable future. Throughout the Millennium Fellowship period (August to December 2023), we plan to host a series of engaging talks, both on-campus and online, to ensure the smooth execution of our project. By fostering self-awareness of their potential impact, we aim to inspire active involvement and initiate meaningful dialogue regarding sustainable development. The ultimate goal is to transition these Action Rooms into Action Clubs within the university, ensuring a sustainable and ongoing commitment to promoting positive change in India. We envision reaching a minimum of 500 students directly through these sessions, while aiming for a long-term impact on at least 100 active members within the Action Clubs, resulting in a more sustainable and informed society.
