Millennium Fellowship Project: EmpowerHer Finances
EmpowerHer Finances is a social initiative that aims to empower women from lower
economic strata to develop financial literacy skills. This initiative will help these
women learn how to manage their money, budget effectively, save money for the
future, as well as secure income-generating opportunities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rashidha Malik is an undergraduate student pursuing psychology as her major and business management as her minor at Amity University, Mumbai, India. She is passionate about mental health and women's empowerment. She is ambitious about the role of technology in the accessibility of mental health services. Through her project, she wants to further the empowerment and independence of women with regard to personal finances. On campus, Rashidha engages in event organisation and theatrics. She aims to work for the United Nations as an advocate for mental health awareness.
