Millennium Fellowship Project: Engage

Engage project is centered on intergrating aproach towards inclusion of women and persons living with disability in climate health change conversations. The project certifies climate change adaptation measures targeting building resilient communities and health system by advancing health equity for women and people living with disability through their inclusion; active, free and meangiful particpation, climate empowerment, non discrimination and adressing loss and damage.
This will be acheived through their engagement and organization representing them at all levels of action and decision making to ensure their needs and participation are taken into consideration which further creates awareness, understanding and provide solutions related to health and climate action.
Measurable goals I hope to accomplish within August- December 2023 are:
1. Schedule a stake holder's meeting with actors implementing health programming to advocate inclusion of sex and disability nonaggregated data in the programmes.
2. Focused groups discussions held with women and disability groups to sensitize them on their participation in climate change and health discussions
