Millennium Fellowship Project: One-Day

One-day is an awareness campaign aimed at educating students, young adults, and communities about the harmful effects of casteism and promoting an inclusive society. The project will focus on peer education and engaging with art forms to spread awareness.
Project Activities:
Peer Education Program:
We will start a peer education program where we educate students and young adults about casteism and ways to combat it. We will create a safe space where people can discuss their experiences and learn from each other. We will provide training to the peer educators and equip them with the necessary tools to organize discussions and workshops on casteism.
Art for Awareness:
I am willing to use art forms such as music, poetry, and theatre to spread awareness about casteism. We will organize events and performances in schools, colleges, and communities to engage people in a creative way. We will also collaborate with local artists and musicians to create art that promotes an inclusive society and combats casteism.
Workshops on Marginalized Communities:
This will help people understand and appreciate different perspectives and work towards a more inclusive society.
Conduct Surveys:
We will conduct surveys in our community to understand the prevalence of casteism and the challenges faced by those affected by it. This data can later be used for highlighting this topic on a large scale.
