Millennium Fellowship Project: Women for Women
Through Neev - the community engagement club - of my university, I have been
involved in curating the Women for Women programme. We engage with the female
workers on our campus, and outside, and hold monthly sessions for them. These are
sometimes informative in nature (ie. mental health, digital literacy) and sometimes
involve simple games and relaxation. We also foster one on one conversations
between female students and female workers. Through this, we aim to not only create a group of women who can support each other while learning new skills but also foster dialogue. This programme falls under the community engagement department of Neev, which I co-head.
