Millennium Fellowship Project: Well-Being Starts here
My initiative aimed to enhance accessibility to mental health services and resources in the rural communities surrounding our university campus. Recognizing the insufficient mental health services in many rural areas across the country, my project focused on establishing collaborative programs with local healthcare providers and community organizations.
About the Millennium Fellow
Purvi Dutt is a student at Ashoka University, India, pursuing a dual major in economics and computer science. Driven by her fervent commitment to effecting change through community engagement, Purvi aspires to witness firsthand the transformative power individuals can have on the world. Through her innovative project, she aspires to cast a spotlight on the critical subject of mental health within the neighboring villages of the university, with the ultimate goal of generating awareness and catalyzing positive transformation. Looking ahead, upon her graduation, Purvi envisions herself pursuing a master's degree in her chosen field, further equipping herself to make meaningful contributions to the betterment of society.
