Millennium Fellowship Project: Illumination
Project Illumination, initiated in October 2022, is dedicated to teaching English to visually impaired students, fostering confidence within their community. In today's world, English serves as a powerful tool for these students, aiding them in shaping their future lives.
About the Millennium Fellow
Nafisa Salim, a dedicated Public Health student at Asian University for Women in Bangladesh, combines professional commitment with a passion for writing. With over two years of diverse experience, including serving as a research writer in her extracurricular pursuits, she excels in collaborative team settings, guided by integrity. Beyond academics, Nafisa aspires to contribute globally to public health and humanitarian efforts, targeting organizations like WFP or the UN. She also enjoys video-editing as a hobby and finds inspiration in travel. Throughout her university journey, she has served as a Teaching Assistant, Student Ambassador, and event coordinator, showcasing versatility and leadership.
