Millennium Fellowship Project: English for Self-Advocacy

Our project focuses on teaching English to Afghan girls who are in Afghanistan. As Afghan girls are not allowed to attend school and universities in the Taliban regime. We are trying to fill the gap and empower those girls to raise their voice and other women how are in Afghanistan.
Our mission is to achieve quality education and gender equality through English Learning, till they can pursue their goals and higher education. In our project, we are five volunteers and every volunteer teaches at least 10 girls through online platforms like Zoom, and WhatsApp. Our approach is English for Specific Purpose (ESP) to teach them. The focus is on using English to find opportunities that are available online for them, especially in terms of further education.
Our program will take six months and its mission is to empower girls to pursue their dreams of higher education in other countries.
