Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate-Agilis
ClimateAgilis is a youth-led initiative with mission to promote climate-resilient, agricultural practices and policies, and to empower communities to build sustainable and equitable food systems in the face of a changing climate. And also with the vision of creating a world where
people, ecosystems, and agriculture will thrive in the face of climate change.
The initiative was created to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on food security and safety of living to promote positive change in the lives of youths, fellow students and small scale farmers to adopt climate resilient agricultural practices for sustainable food production through climate education, advocacy and campaigns.
About the Millennium Fellow
Muhammad Shuaibu is an animal health technician who is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi,Department of Animal Production Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology. He is a member of Cohort 5 MyFarmbase Africa Fellowship, 2020.
Muhammad volunteers with the production committee of TedxBauchi and is a passionate educator, focusing on promoting sustainable agriculture and ensuring food security to achieve Global Goals 2 and 13.
Muhammad, founder of ClimateAgilis, aims to promote climate-resilient agriculture and empower communities to establish sustainable food systems. He's also engaged in the Climate Risk Research Challenge Nigeria 2023 by Sustainable Africa Initiative.
