Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate-Agilis
ClimateAgilis is a youth-led initiative with mission to promote climate-resilient, agricultural practices and policies, and to empower communities to build sustainable and equitable food systems in the face of a changing climate. And also with the vision of creating a world where
people, ecosystems, and agriculture will thrive in the face of climate change.
The initiative was created to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on food security and safety of living to promote positive change in the lives of youths, fellow students and small scale farmers to adopt climate resilient agricultural practices for sustainable food production through climate education, advocacy and campaigns.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sumayya usman is a 23years old medical student at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi Nigeria, she grew up In an area where health sectors are poorly developed which makes her to be interested in helping others, apart from being a humanitarian, she is also a philanthropist who loves helping the helpless. Other things she loves includes reading, writing poems, going for outreach programmes and socialising with others.
