Millennium Fellowship Project: Waste for Paste project (WFPP)
Waste for Paste project (WFPP) is an eco-friendly project that seek to address waste reduction, energy conversation and pollution prevention within the Dental communities. Through this project, non-biodegradable hospital wastes were collected for a space of 3 months and were sold to a recycling company and the funds were used to get the toothpaste equivalent for the waste. The overall goal of the project is that non-biodegradable hospital wastes can help boost access to Oral Health care,with the aim of actively pursuing more sustainable practices.
About the Millennium Fellow
Aderibigbe Adewale Lanre is a Clinical I Dental student at Bayero University. Apart from being a pro-active learner, Lanre has an unquenchable passion to provide Innovative solutions to Health care and wellness, social enterprise and economic growth.With over three years volunteering role in Not for profits organisations.
He prides himself on research writing(with special interest in Oral Health) to better the lives of his people.
Lanre is inspired by continuous learning and taking up new challenges. He loves reading memoirs in his leisure time.
