Millennium Fellowship Project: Waste management and sanitation
Local to Global Initiative (LTGI), is a project led by MCN fellow, Adewumi Ibrahim. The project is aimed at creating an avenue to utilize waste we see in our local environment to initiate something worthwhile in the global landscape.
About the Millennium Fellow
Adewumi Ibrahim is a young and progressive youth, who is passionate about capacity building and community development. He was born on 24th December, 1999.
He had his primary school education at Mustard seed model children School Ilobu and graduated in 2011. He proceeded to Ilobu School of science, Ilobu for his junior and senior secondary school education and graduated in 2017.
In the course of his education, he has participated in a number of extra-curricular activities within and outside the school premises part of which include; Press Club Ilobu high school where he was elected as the president, Young Ambitious Educative Forum where he was the Librarian, he has also represented his school in different debate and public speaking contest and performed excellently.
He gained admission to University of Ibadan in 2018 to study Aquaculture and fisheries management, also participated in different activities in the school but later left University of Ibadan to study Nursing science in Bayero University, Kano.
He is currently a 200level student in the department of Nursing Science, Bayero University Kano.
