Millennium Fellowship Project: Digi-Savvy
The Digi-Savvy project is an initiative aimed at delivering in-depth digital skills training to 200 university students in health-related fields. The program encompassed graphics design, digital marketing, content creation, mental health, medical entrepreneurship, SDGs education and mentorship. Through collaboration with industry experts and mentors, the project guaranteed participants' successful program completion, issuing certificates as tangible proof of their enhanced digital competencies. The culmination of this effort aimed to equip students for thriving careers in digital- driven health care.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sophia Alabi is a 4th-year Physiotherapy student at Bayero University Kano, SDG Advocate, and Social Media Marketing strategist.
Her advocacy work has earned her recognition as a Leap Africa Fellow, where she has refined her leadership and community engagement skills. Her aspirations involve leading initiatives that drive meaningful societal change, aligning perfectly with her dedication to building a brighter, more equitable world.
Sophia raises awareness about the 17 SDGs through her influential online presence. Her specific areas of focus include advocating for quality education,
championing climate action, and striving for gender equality.
